Waseet began its first operations in Kuwait in 1992 when the three main partners, namely, Bashar Kiwan, Mohammed Abdulaziz Al-Otaibi, and Sabah Jaber Al-Sabah joined hands to publish Waseet free weekly classified. Their simple yet highly effective formula combined with a passion to succeed, has created the most respected classified advertising brand in the region, with a weekly distribution of over 5.3 million copies and a readership of over 20 million people, covering 9 countries and 30 operations.
Waseet has grew to contain a workforce of over 5,000 people, making it one of the biggest regional . in the MENA and Gulf regions.

From local to Regional

In 1996, Waseet moved from a local market publication to grow on a regional level. Since then, Waseet has undergone rapid development and expansion throughout the Arab region across the following countries:
